India being the land of extreme geographical diversities has picturesque hill station spots. These hill stations are very easily accessible both by Land or Air. The hill stations are well connected to major cities and thus navigations to these places are very easy.
The northern side of the peninsula has in its stake, the mighty Himalayan mountains. Considered to be one of the most longest mountain ranges in the world, they are almost stunning to human eyes. Some of the most important hill stations in the Himalayan region may be Darjeeling, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Haridwar and Rishikesh. Navigating to the above places is real easy as these places are well connected by Land or Air. Darjeeling regarded as the Queen of the Himalayan ranges is one of the most beautiful places on earth. They have a wide variety of natural beauties and also the wildlife in these regions are very diverse. Kedarnath, approximately at an height of 2000m above sea level is predominantly a place of worship. Badrinath is the sister hill town of Kedarnath also having its pride religious temples.
Other places to visit in Northern India may be the Mussori hills, Shimla and Srinagar. These places are highly interesting to give you an enthralling experiences. In Shimla one can experience the beauty of snowfall round the year. Nainital may be also defined in the list of important hill stations in India.
On the southern sides, there is the place called Ooty (or formerly called, Otacamund) which is a tourist boom centre. This place is very serene and can be the best tourist spot for nature lovers. One can have a visit of the botanical gardens, the silver falls and the other important tourist hot spots located here.
