We at Firmata travel, also offer the older ones excellent Pilgrimage tours through the different spiritual centres throughout Africa. These pilgrimages are excellently orchestrated and well planned that you wouldn't need to fear about safety or the places to visit since our experienced guides and helpers have found out the best you need.
A pilgrimage isn't a complete tour, its rather an experience and with an intention to prayerfully experience places and people in a community with other travelers.
You do not need to worry about who will lead the pilgrimage because a priest and speaker at various conferences around the globe with an experience of 30 years leading pilgrimages is going to be your leader through the pilgrimage and this reflective pilgrimage will also focus on eco-spirituality in the region and will offer the opportunity of worshipping the local way with local people as well as times of quiet reflection in small groups and even alone.
You will stay at retreat centers or private homes or even at monasteries. The journey will begin and end at the same spot so pilgrims have the choices of staying beyond and ahead of the pilgrimage dates.
The pilgrimage will include time in Grahamstown, Jeffrey's Bay, Knysna, Oudshoorn, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Visits to Game Parks, medical centers and to Townships where we experience hands on care for poor children will be included. A detailed itinerary will be sent to all who register.
